Hoppy Holidays
Colored Pencil, 2003 11"x14" ~ $90.00 This handmade bunny was given to me as a Christmas gift several years ago by my sister and niece - I assume as a sort of joke (if you had seen the wrapping you would know why I say that.) I was really into colored pencils at the time and had a beautiful sheet of pale green paper looking for a subject, so the bunny was elected. I never was completely satisfied with it, and dabbled at it periodically, until in 2003 I finally brought it to its finished form. Originally I just called it the "Christmas Bunny," but in a stroke of either inspiration or inanity (you choose), I hit on the title "Hoppy Holidays." | |
