Irish Castle Wills Homestead
Watercolor, approx. 11"x14". One of my favorite assignments, partly because I was able to paint much of it on site, mostly because it was such an attractive, gracious old home. Sadly, it no longer exists, as the entire area was bulldozed a few years back for a road widening project.

Backyard Irish castle
Acrylic, approx. 30"x36"
A real castle; the client's ancestral home. Composited from several different photographs found in the library. Getting the color right was tough; all I had to go on was the client's description, as all the fotos were b/w. The deer were included at the client's request so I also had to do a lot of research to find the right kind of deer.

Mural Rockledge
Watercolor, approx. 24"x36". An imposing, historic home in Occoquan, Virginia. At the time I painted it, it was undergoing reconstruction, I had to imagine some of the fiddly bits. Since I had to sit on the sidewalk to paint it, I attracted quite a crowd.

Maine Sunset Rockledge (notecard version)
Pen & ink, drawn about 8"x10" then reproduced at notecard size. These days I can offer notecards in color too.

Mirror Small house
Watercolor, approx. 4"x6"
A verrry small painting of a small house! Painted from a photograph provided by the client, plus some descriptions of the flowers (since the foto was taken in winter).
