    • Unless otherwise noted, all images are reproduced and matted to fit 11x14" frames. Where size is noted, it refers to the maximum frame size for that reproduction.

    • Reproductions are produced and proofed by the artist. They are scanned directly from the original artwork for best reproduction of color, texture, etc.

    • Reproductions are printed with long-lasting inks, and are UV and water-resistant. They are printed on archival, heavy-weight paper, and come with acid-free mat and backing board.

    • Notecards are baronial ("invitation") size; that is, 4.25" by 5.5". They are blank inside, and printed on white card stock with matching envelope.

    • Notecard 8-packs can be all one image, or an assortment. They come in a plastic box tied with a ribbon.

      FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
(Refer to the Print Buyer's Guide for a more detailed discussion and explanation of terms.)
      Q. Is there a difference between a print and a reproduction?
      A. Yes. Properly used, the term "print" refers to a "hand-pulled" print; that is, a print which is made by the hand of the artist, such as an etching or woodblock print. Each one is unique. The images in my "Prints" gallery are reproduced photo-mechanically (and are thus identical), and are more accurately called "reproductions."

      Q. Why do you keep using the term "print," then?
      A. Mostly from laziness; everyone else does, and when artists are talking to each other we usually know what we really mean. :-) However, I have a "legitimate" reason as well; "reproduction" is a long word, and doesn't always fit into my web page format. "Print" is the only other word I can come up with that gets across the right idea. There's a lot more about all this stuff in the Print Buyer's Guide.

      Q. Are these giclee prints?
      A. If by giclee you mean are they printed on an Iris printer - no. I use an Epson photo-quality ink-jet printer with long-lasting, color-accurate inks and archival paper. I'll let you decide how much difference the brand of printer makes.

      Q. Are these limited-edition prints?
      A. No.

      Q. Why aren't ALL of your paintings available as prints?
      A. Many originals sold before I was able to scan them. Others simply don't reproduce well. And a few were lost in a series of computer crashes.

      Q. May I make my own reproductions of your work?
      A. No. I own the copyright.

      Q. Would you sell the copyright of your work?
      A. Doubtful, but you can ask; contact me at myarcadia@juno.com.

      Q. Will you reproduce other sizes, bulk quantities, or otherwise customize an order?
      A. If I can! Contact me at myarcadia@juno.com and we'll see what can be worked out.
