Below are brief descriptions of each class, including links to supply lists, recommended reading and student examples.

    Step-by-Step Classes
Want to start making art, but don't want to spend the money on supplies until you know which medium is right for you? Already an artist, but want to test out a new medium? The "Step-by-Step" classes may be the answer. Each session features a different medium, and the supplies are provided for you. The instructor demonstrates the steps used to create a simple painting, then assists each student in following the steps. Take one or all; techniques and subject matter are different each time. When you find the medium you like, you can register for a longer class! $20.00 for each 2 hour session, plus a $15 supply fee. All materials provided.

Watercolor Basics & Beyond and Exploring Color: Watercolor
Traditional studio class. Beginners learn the basic tools and techniques of their media by working from photographs. More advanced students put those skills to use developing their own style and method of working. Each session covers different subject matter.
125.00 for each five-week session. Watercolor paper is provided by the instructor: $10 supply fee.

    Exploring color: Acrylics
A versatile and forgiving medium, acrylics lend themselves to a variety of techniques, and can be used on many different surfaces. Students who are new to this medium will learn the basic tools and techniques; more advanced students are encouraged to develop their skills and explore new directions. $80.00 for each four-week session.
